KNX IN DEPTH: THE BRIGHT LIGHTS OF BROADWAY, READY TO SHINE AGAIN

(At 40:18 stamp)

They say the show must go on. Usually it's producers who don't want to lose money, but they say the show must go on and indeed it's about to once again on Broadway.

For the actors, the stage managers, lighting, makeup, thousands of people who make the big productions run on Broadway in New York or even here in L.A. It has been a tough year; Broadway shut down last March, many careers put on pause, in many cases, there wasn't any work available to them for about 14 months.

Now that is about to change, and not a moment too soon. The stage lights of broadway will be flipped back on by September with productions starting to ramp up over the summer. Ira Mont is a veteran stage manager. He's worked on productions like The Producers, Cats, Cinderella, Sound of Music, Jesus Christ Superstar, a lot more. Ira thanks for being with us.
