GET TO KNOW THE ROBE RECIPIENTS

Andrew Kober is King in 'Queen of Versailles' Robe

"The Robe feels like such a tangible connection to the lineage of chorus performers on Broadway. Life as a Broadway performer can actually feel very isolating. You go to your show, you go from gig to gig, you go to auditions. In many ways, it’s like any job; you go to work. It’s very rare for there to be an opportunity to zoom out and see yourself in the greater context of Broadway. It’s genuinely moving and humbling to be reminded."

Andrew Kober stands with his arms outstretched wearing the Robe, at the foot of the marble staircase on the set of the stage.
