"I was completely shocked. And to be presented the robe by my dear friend and true Broadway legend, Cameron Adams was icing on this most delicious dessert. The Legacy Robe is a rare celebration of the work of the ensemble. A good director realizes that the ensemble is the backbone to a show and if overlooked or unattended to, can quickly become shallow filler. Within a show we often create our own backstories, our own character names, justifying why we move from point A to B. We tend to be the first to rehearsal and the last to leave as there is always something to do with the ensemble. This Robe represents that community that works so hard."
