For the second year in a row, The Barrymore Awards returned to the Walnut Street Theatre on Monday, October 4th co-sponsored by Actors' Equity. AEA partnered with Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia to host the Red Carpet Event, hosted once again by AEA member Tom McCarthy. The awards ceremony was emceed by Philly favorite Fran Prisco, followed by a comfortable, fun-filled reception followed in the Ballroom at the Ben on Chestnut Street.

AEA President Nick Wyman attended with his wife, Beth McDonald and helped to present the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Play. Kudos to AEA members Eileen Harris and Liaison Committee members Lori Aghazarian and Pat Adams who volunteer their stage management skills to the event each year. Many recipients acknowledged the support of our fine Philadelphia area AEA stage managers.

AEA Communications Director David Lotz was also in attendance, along with Liaison Committee members Seth Reichgott, Pat Sabato, Jeanette Hartunian, and Julie Czarnecki.

Congratulations to Margie Salvante, Karen DeLossi and all the staff of Theatre Alliance for another great evening of celebrating professional theatre in Philadelphia.
