Calling All EMC's

The Week of September 14th, 2009
is National EMC Week

In honor of our future members - gatherings have been scheduled across the country.

The Central Texas AEA Liaison Committee is pleased to announce our schedule of events for this years EMC week. We hope all Central Texas EMC's can join us for this fun week of theatre and AEA information and swag. These events will be free of charge or at a VERY discounted rate. Some evenings will end with a brief talk-back with the cast and crews.

Please Note: RSVP for all performances at the RSVP email address or phone number below. Give the performance/s you would like to attend and identify yourself as an EMC. You will be asked to present your EMC identification when picking up tickets. A list of EMC's will be available at each theatre box office. A member of the Liaison Committee will be present for each event

Attend performance of Austin Shakespeare's production of "Measure for Measure"

Attend performance of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee"

Zachary Scott Theatre Center on the Kleberg Stage

Sunday September 20th at 5:00 PM + Reception at 7:30 PM
Attend matinee of Austin Playhouses' production of "Frost/Nixon" followed by a couple of hours of snacks, soft drinks and good conversation. Educational element available by Bill McMillin, AEA Stage Manager Councillor and Austin/Central Texas Liaison

Sunday, September 20, at 7:00 PM

It's National EMC Week, and the Seattle Liaison Committee is hosting a reception. It's a great opportunity to meet with other EMC's and members of the Liaison Committee, and get the scoop on work opportunities, theater education options, and whatever topics interest you. Come for the reception and stay for the discussion about Equity, being Equity in Seattle and elsewhere, and related ideas, hopes, and concerns. There will be refreshments and Equity swag. We look forward to meeting you!
