Equity Appoints New National Director of Finance and Administration

New York, N.Y., Monday, August 08, 2005, - Alan Eisenberg, Executive Director of Actors’ Equity Association, has appointed Steve DiPaola, to the position of National Director of Finance and Administration for the Union.

Mr. DiPaola previously held the position of National Director of Administration. He will report directly to Mr. Eisenberg and will be working closely with Equity’s Treasurer, Conard Fowkes along with the Comptroller, Joe DeMichele, the finance department staff and with Senior Advisor Guy Pace. He will be taking on the management and supervision of all matters relating to Equity's Finances, in addition to his current duties of supervising administrative operations and human resources in all the Equity offices nationwide.

“Steve has been an important contributor to making Equity a strong and viable Union,” said Mr. Eisenberg. “His experience in both finance and administration are invaluable and we look forward to the many new ideas he will bring to the table.”

A graduate of New York University, Steve DiPaola has worked in Equity for more than 18 years. Since 1987 he has provided valuable service to Equity and its members by overseeing the management of the Equity offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orlando and San Francisco. In addition, he has aided in the development of the online dues payment system, the implementation of the Student Outreach Program, along with the Members Only section and Casting Database of the Equity website.
