Your producer is required to provide Worker's Compensation Insurance to cover work-sustained injuries. The money that pays for medical coverage for these injuries comes from an insurance policy that the producer purchases. Should your injury continue beyond your employment in the show, or should there be a reoccurrence of a condition resulting from the injury after the show is closed, you may be entitled to continuing medical coverage provided you have reported it as a work-sustained injury. The Equity-League insurance provides medical coverage for situations other than work-related injuries. |
