Women's Theatre Company, Emelin Theatre Announce Seasons

The Women's Theatre Company, Parsippany, NJ, will present its second season under an SPT Category 1. Founded in 1993, the Women's Theatre Company is the only theatre company in New Jersey devoted exclusively to increasing the opportunities for women in every facet of the theatre, including playwriting, performing, directing, production and design.

Developing Theatre Business Representative Heidi Berghoff reports that the season will include; HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE (opens 11/14/02) SMELL OF THE KILL, and I'M GETTING MY ACT TOGETHER AND TAKING IT ON THE ROAD. Salaries are $155 for Actors, $188 for the Stage Manager.

The Emelin Theatre, Mamaroneck, NY will present three productions this season under an SPT (Small Professional Theatre), Category 7. Salary minimums at this level are $329.00 for Actors and $395.00 for the Stage Manager. The theatre will present NATIONAL ANTHEMS, HAIR (concert version), and DRIVING MISS DAISY
