|Kaufherr Members Resource Center in Chicago Now Open to Equity Members|
KMRC Offers State of the Art Technology, Library and More to Equity, SAG and AFTRA Members
The Kaufherr members Resource Center is now opening its doors to members of Actors' Equity Association. The KMRC offers an array of amenities from the latest in audio and visual equipment to rehearsal spaces. The Center's main focus is to help Equity, AFTRA and SAG members enhance their skills and practice their craft as voice-over talent, on-camera actors and broadcasters, while also giving them a central location to relax between jobs and reinforce the important role community plays within the Unions. The center was made possible by a grant for the charitable trust established by the late Jerry Kaufherr, a legendary Chicago voice actor.
The KMRC is a multi-purpose facility that combines the technological advantages of an advanced digital audio-visual studio with the comfortable ambience of a family-style living room.
