The Housing Mortgage Seminar (How to Become a Homeowner), sponsored by the Equity Housing Committee and the Actors' Federal Credit Union, will be held on Monday, June 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Equity Council Room.

Panelists will include a New York City real estate agent, a mortgage broker, a real estate attorney and the mortgage loan officer from the Credit Union. They discuss practical information about such things as preparing your creditworthiness, saving for a down payment, finding an affordable house or apartment, and tax advantages of home ownership. Even if you've thought you would never be in a position to own a home, you should attend this seminar - it might just change your mind.
