The Florida Senate has voted to eliminate all arts funding in Florida - the arts need you to take action now. Please go to http://www.flca.net/flca/advocacy_checklist.htm. This is a checklist of things you can do to help. Keep checking that website for updates. Please CALL, WRITE, EMAIL or VISIT your legislators this week. THE MESSAGE TO GET ACROSS IS: SAVE ARTS FUNDING!The arts are willing to take their fair share of funding cuts. We only request $14.7 million dollars, which is a 50-percent decrease from last year's state funding.
