"We are very pleased to have Nancy join our staff," said Eisenberg. "Her experience as a web designer and information architect, combined with her interests in the theatre, graphic design and playwriting, will greatly enhance services to our members."

After attending the Philadelphia College of the Arts and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, where she majored in illustration, composition, figure drawing and watercolor, she discovered the graphic capabilities of the Macintosh computer. She become a desktop publisher and went on to teach courses in PageMaker, Quark Xpress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and the Microsoft Office suite. She was Adjunct Professor at the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences and the University of the Arts, as well as a consultant for several computer training centers.

Nancy has done web design, data and information architecture, and technical writing for companies such as Merck, Voicenet, HealthCast, TIS Worldwide, Vanteon, Ebeon and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom.

Nancy is a member of the Dramatists Guild. Her dark comedy Monkey's Paw 2000 was performed in the Midtown International Theatre Festival in August 2000, and her romantic comedy Tam Lin was recently selected for the Deptford Players reading series. She founded and currently heads NYCPlaywrights, a new plays development group which meets weekly to do readings in Greenwich Village.

"This job combines my favorite things: writing, the Theatre, and geeking out" said Nancy. "I feel right at home with the friendly and fascinating people at Actors' Equity. And on top of that, I'm working for a great cause: making sure that working actors get a fair deal. I'm very lucky to have this opportunity."
