Communications Department

The Communications Department informs the membership, future members, the media, and the public of Equity's goals and policies. The department fields press inquiries and issues press releases, and writes articles for Equity News and the web site. It produces flyers and information bulletins, and assists all other departments with the dissemination of information to both members and the public at large about Equity's stances, contracts, services, benefits, and activities. The Communications Department seeks to promote a positive image of Equity and to increase understanding of theatrical and labor issues.
