Equity’s GYPSY ROBE®

“I love the Gypsy Robe because itís everything that I love about theatre. Itís fun, celebratory, unifying and just the right amount of silly. On a practical level, it gives a veteran member of the cast an excuse to go from dressing room to dressing room and tell the entire cast to break a leg. For me personally, it was a beautiful experience to look each of my cast members in the eyes and say 'Congrats, we did it!'”

Hometown: Grand Forks, North Dakota

First Broadway Credit: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels in 2005.

Professional Training: I have a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of Michigan.

Year Joined Equity: I joined in 1998.

How I Got My Equity Card: I got my Equity card in 1998 at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera. Four shows in five weeks; we worked hard and played harder.

Number of Broadway Chorus Contract Credits: Frozen is my tenth Broadway show!

Fun Fact: My wife and I are photographers. We specialize in family portraits, weddings, and of course, headshots for actors.
