Rock the Audition: How to Prepare For and Get Cast in Rock Musicals Monday, April 15, 2013 The Central Region Membership Education Committee and the SAG Foundation invite you to “Rock the Audition: How to Prepare for and Get Cast in Rock Musicals” on Monday, April 15, 2013 (7 PM) at the AEA Member Center, 557 West Randolph Street. Cyndi Lauper and Trey Anastasio have just written new Broadway musicals. Other rock stars are writing for the musical theatre. Are you ready to rock your audition? Join master teacher Sheri Sanders for an evening dedicated to the pop/rock audition. Sheri will teach you everything you need to learn about what it takes to master auditioning for pop/rock musicals. Space is limited, RSVP required. Please RSVP on April 8th by calling 312-641-0406 from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM only. A small number of attendees will have an opportunity to receive feedback on a 16-32 bar cut of a pop or rock song during the second half of the seminar. A raffle will be held mid-seminar and we will select singers. Please bring sheet music in the correct key if you would like to be considered for the singing portion. An accompanist will be provided.
