Broadway Salutes Honors 25, 35 and 50+ Year Industry Vets
On Thursday September 20, BROADWAY SALUTES recognized over 100 artists, technicians, and crafts people from the theatrical industry who have worked on Broadway for 25, 35 and 50+ years. Legendary Broadway director and 21-time Tony Award winner Harold Prince served as Master of Ceremonies for the fourth-annual “Broadway Salutes,” an industry-wide celebration to honor those who make Broadway great. The event was presented by The Broadway League and Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds (COBUG) and was once again held in the Times Square Visitors Center (7th Avenue between 46th and 47th Streets). Participating luminaries and recipients included AEA President Nick Wyman, AEA 1st VP Paige Price, AEA members Laura Osnes, Carl Mulert and Jodi K. Long, Tony Award-winning Costume Designer William Ivey Long and many others.
