Philadelphia Liaison Committee Newsletter Back in 1999, the Philadelphia Fringe was establishing itself as an excellent venue for risk-taking projects of many disciplines, including theatre. As artists, Equity members were itchin’ to create their own performance opportunities. Through Liaison Committee efforts, we gained AEA approval to create a code so members could scratch that artistic itch.
