Six LA Casting Directors To "Talk Theatre" at AEA's New Hollywood Office

Series Begins Monday, June 30, 2008

Actors' Equity's Western Membership Education Committee will continue its popular "Talking Theatre" seminars with a series of Monday evening conversations with Los Angeles Casting Directors starting on Monday, June 30, 2008.

All seminars will take place at AEA's new headquarters, at 6755 Hollywood Boulevard, 5th Floor, from 6:30 PM to 8 PM with a 6 PM sign in. The office is one block east of the Hollywood and Highland intersection. Parking will be validated and light refreshments will be served. Members are encouraged to use the Metro Red Line which is conveniently located one block west of our office at Hollywood/Highland.

July 21:	Samantha Barrie (The Old Globe, San Diego)
July 28:	Phyllis Schuringa (Geffen Playhouse)
August 11:	Michael Donovan (Hollywood Bowl; Pasadena Playhouse; I.C.T., Long Beach)
August 18:	Wally Ziegler (Laguna Playhouse)
August 25:	Nicole Arbusto (Locally: CTG, La Jolla Playhouse, The Geffen Playhouse, and Pasadena Playhouse. Regionally: Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Goodman, Dallas Theatre Center, Seattle Rep, Berkeley Rep., Huntington Theatre, Kansas City Rep, Intiman, Portland Center Stage, and Cleveland Playhouse)
September 22:	Julia Flores (McCoy Rigby Entertainment, Theatreworks, San Jose Rep, Portand Center Stage, Denver Center, B Street Theatre, LA Philharmonic)
Additional casting directors may be announced.

Effective Thursday, 7/17/08, our parking lot will be located at 1840 N. Highland Ave (outdoor parking lot on the southeast corner of Franklin and Highland). Please let the parking attendant know you are visiting Actors' Equity. You will be given a special ticket for validation, upon showing your paid up Equity card.
