Career Transition For Dancers (CTFD) will present its "NATIONAL OUTREACH PROJECT FOR DANCERS" Workshop on Sunday, September 21, 2008 hosted by the Minnesota Dance Theatre & The Dance Institute, 528 Hennepin Ave. 6th Floor, Minneapolis, MN 55403. There will be an Open Forum from 11:00am to 2:00pm and One-on-One counseling

By appointment from 2:30-6:00pm.

The workshop will address:

  • Emotional Aspects of Change
  • Identification of Personal Interests and Skills
  • Career Possibilities for the Future – even while you're still dancing
  • Grant and Scholarship Information

This event will be FREE of CHARGE!

Dance Community Workshop: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
One-on-One Counseling: By appointment from 2:30-6:00 pm

About CTFD: Career Transition For Dancers is a non profit organization that has been helping professional dancers for over 20 years in New York and more than 10 years in Los Angeles. CTFD is now branching out to major dance cities around the U.S. It provides one-on-one counseling, grants for school and to start new businesses along with a counseling hotline. The National Outreach Project reflects CTFD’s mission to help current and former dancers throughout the United States and is being made possible by a generous grant from the Bossak-Heilbron Charitable Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts; Sponsored by Dance Magazine and hosted by the Minnesota Dance Theatre & The Dance Institute.
