Spring Membership Meeting Bay Area Advisory Committee Hosts Spring Membership Meeting Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Fund Drive, New Sub-Committees The San Francisco Bay Area Advisory Committee (BAAC) hosted the Spring AEA membership meeting on April 28th at Chevy's in the Embarcadero. Special Guest, Mary Lou Westerfield, National Director of Policy and Interim Western Regional Director were present and outgoing chair, Jerry Marks presided. Elections to fill open seats on the Bay Area Advisory Committee were held and Nancy Madden, George Mac Rae, Noah Butler (alt), were re-elected to 3 year terms. Committee officers were elected at the May 19th meeting of BAAC.
Current members of BAAC are: Four seats remain to be filled . Elections for all open seats will be held in the Spring . The Committee encourages all Bay Area Members to consider volunteering for BAAC. BAAC meetings are held on a monthly basis. Please contact Kelly Ground for more information and to express interest at themusecompany@aol.com Those interested in running for BAAC need to prepare as short statement of interest and submit it to the AEA office prior to the Spring membership meeting to verify eligibility. Save The Date: the Bay Area Fall General Membership meeting is set for October 13th @ 6:30PM. Location TBD.
