Great Turn Out for Baltimore-Washington DC Area Auditions

Jan 21, 2008 - Members of the Baltimore-Washington DC Area Liaison Committee organized the annual Baltimore/Washington DC/Northern Virginia regional auditions, on Jan 21-22, 2008 at the Round House Theatre in Silver Spring MD. Despite bone-chilling temperatures, over 180 Equity Actors and Equity Membership Candidates turned out for the two-day auditions.

Numerous Equity theatres participated this year, including Arena Stage, Bay Theatre Company, Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, Cumberland Theatre, Everyman Theatre, Folger Theatre, Ford's Theatre, Imagination Stage, Journeymen Theatre Ensemble, Kennedy Center TYA Metro Stage, Olney Theatre Center, Rep Stage At Howard Community College, Round House Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Shear Madness At The Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre, Spooky Action Theatre, Studio Theatre, Surflight Theatre, Theater J, Theater Of The First Amendment, Totem Pole Playhouse, Washington Stage Guild, Washington Women In Theatre, Wayside Theatre, and the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company.
