Cleveland Liaison Committee Reaching Out to AEA Members

Following Cleveland's fall membership meeting and Cleveland's participation in the Expanded Eastern Region Board Meeting last November, the Cleveland Equity Liaison committee recently met to discuss the organizational structure of the Cleveland committee and to strategize about next steps for the coming year. Committee members include Angela Winborn, Marc Moritz, Matthew Wright, Dougfred Miller, Elizabeth Townsend, George Roth, E.B. Smith, secretary Nick Koesters, and co-chairs, Bernadette Clemens and Tracee Patterson.

Committee members are currently in the process of personally contacting local AEA members to solicit feedback on the needs, concerns, and areas of most interest to membership; and to get ideas and suggestions about activities and actions that local members would like the committee to pursue. Results of this polling will be completed in March and disseminated to all local members. The committee is also investigating possible methods of regular communication with local membership and ideas for community-building activities.
