HEALING THE DANCER ANNUAL SEMINAR MAY 15th in NEW YORK

The second annual Healing the Dancer seminar will be held on May 15 from 3 – 7 pm in New York. The half-day conference, to be held at The New 42nd Street Studios at 229 West 42nd Street, is free of charge to professional dancers and those who serve them.

The Healing the Dancer seminar will be hosted by Bebe Neuwirth, founder of The Dancers’ Resource program at The Actors Fund. A panel of experts will address the unique needs of the dance community, offering information and resources for obtaining health insurance and health care, nutrition, injury prevention, financial wellness, and more.

The Actors Fund is a human services organization that helps everyone - performers and those behind the scenes –who works in performing arts and entertainment, and serves over 9,000 people annually.
