Tribute To Sir Rex Harrison Free Event For AEA Members
Sunday, October 28, 4:00 PM To mark the centenary of Sir Rex Harrison, a group of his Broadway colleagues participate in a symposium honoring his contributions to New York theater. Clips from Harrison's sparkling appearances in My Fair Lady, Carol Reed's memorable thriller Night Train to Munich, and Preston Sturges' hilarious Unfaithfully Yours will be screened. The symposium will be moderated by Daily News Cultural Affairs Editor Howard Kissell, and participants will include distinguished actors Philip Bosco, Simon Jones, and Marian Seldes, and producer Elliot Martin. Lady Harrison will host a small reception immediately following the symposium. Reservations required. As a special tribute to all New York City actors and actresses, the Museum is offering free admission to the Museum, this special program and the reception to members of Actors' Equity.
