Team Equity Raises $6000 At AIDS Walk LA

Actors, Stage Managers, and Equity/Actors Fund staff members were joined by family and friends for the annual AIDS Walk on Sunday October 21, 2007 in West Hollywood. This year's event raised a record-breaking $3.9 million for AIDS Project Los Angeles and 21 other benefiting organizations that do vital work in the LA community

In its AIDS Walk debut, Team Equity raised an astounding $6000 ! AEA staffer Richard Ostlund, who marched with his partner Don Mueller, reported that members who saw the Equity banner joined in along with the way, saying they were "happy to see my union out here today." Equity's visibility, the temperature and the team's enthusiasm were all flying high at this worthy and fun event. See you at next year's walk.
