Off Broadway Stage Manager's Networking Event is Success

The second annual Off Broadway Stage Manager's networking event, co-sponsored by Actors' Equity and the League of Off-Broadway Theatres and Producers, took place on Monday, June 18 2007 in the Council room at AEA headquarters. Over 80 Equity Stage Managers had the opportunity to meet-and-greet producers and general managers from 20 Equity Off Broadway and ANTC theatre companies, including The Public Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, NY Theatre Workshop, Manhattan Theatre Club and Second Stage Theatre.

The informal, speed-dating format allowed the Stage Managers to learn about the theatres' upcoming seasons, schedules and hiring practices, and present their resumes for future consideration. Everyone agreed it was a great success.
