Eastern New Member Reception is Boffo

Congratulations on joining Actors' Equity ! AEA's Eastern Member Ed Committee hosted its fall/winter new member reception on Thursday, December 6th in the Council room, which drew more than 100 new members who joined Equity within the past year. Tom Miller, Equity's new Director of Outreach and Career Development, emceed the event. David Hyde Pierce, currently starring in CURTAINS on Broadway, was a surprize guest.

The attendees learned about numerous member benefits, audition procedures, Equity's governance, agency and contract information, as well as ways to get involved in their Union. There were lots of questions and answers, and of course, free Equity swag !
