Twentieth Year for KITA
 Genevieve Venjohnson and Adrienne Cury Equity and the Chicago-based Lawyers Celebrate 20 years. January 2007 marked the twentieth year for KITA, the internal training program for national law firm, Kirkland and Ellis. Twenty years ago, KITA had no formal Equity Agreement, and consisted of a hand full of Equity and non-Equity actors. Today, KITA provides a two-week Special Agreement contract to over one hundred (Equity) Actors. For two amazing days, the seventh floor of Chicago's Palmer House Hotel, is transformed into thirty court rooms where mock trials (with Actors playing expert witnesses) are created for Kirkland's newly hired lawyers.
