TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN'
![]() Lorin Latarro, Lisa Brescia, Keith Kühl, Lisa Gajda, Michael Arden, and Neil Haskell And the second Gypsy Robe of the new season goes to…...drum roll please…Lisa Gajda! The Gypsy Robe was presented to Ms. Gajda in an opening night (Thursday, October 26, 2006) onstage ceremony at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre just prior to the curtain of THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN'. Lorin Latarro, recipient of the first Gypsy Robe of the season for A CHORUS LINE, made the presentation.
![]() Lisa Gajda and Jean-Paul Richard The tradition of the Gypsy Robe began over 50 years ago. The Robe is presented on an opening night of a musical to the Chorus member with the most Broadway Chorus credits. With each new musical opening, the Robe progresses from show to show, passed from Gypsy to Gypsy, with each adding to the Robe an embellishment honoring the individual character and spirit of the show and the Chorus Gypsy. Lisa has performed in nine Broadway musicals: SPAMALOT, MOVIN' OUT, URBAN COWBOY, SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS, KISS ME KATE, FOSSE, HOW TO SUCEED…, TOMMY and TABOO, for which she received the Robe in the 2003-2004 season.
![]() Lisa Gajda and Michael Arden Supervising the presentation was Equity Chorus Councillor Thomas Miller. Former Robe recipient's in attendance were Richard Korthaze (HOW TO SUCCEED…, DANCIN'), Andy Pellick (TARZAN), Patrick Wetzel (DROWSY CHAPERONE) and Equity Chorus Councillor Michelle Kittrell (ALL SHOOK UP, URBAN COWBOY).
