Diary of a Dance Captain

By Michelle Kittrell - Dance Captain, LEGALLY BLONDE

Michelle Kittrell

Week Three - New York City

More of the same for this week. Lots of hard work and concentration on 'the story.' We did have a group sales event where we presented a few musical numbers from the show for the folks who sell tickets to large groups. It was actually nice to perform in front of a "pseudo" audience to get a feel of the flow of some of the show. But it was quickly back to work afterwards. There was not a lot of down time as we continue to stage numbers and work on the script. And, of course, our morning jump roping routine continues.

Next week we'll see what ensues...and I'll fill you in!

Diary Entries

I was asked to write a journal for Equity's website to explain what the position of Dance Captain entails from the ground up on a new Broadway musical. In my case, LEGALLY BLONDE.
