Auditions Dept Wants Feedback
The Equity Auditions Department is seeking comments from AEA members who attended the recent NJ Theatre Alliance EPAs in New Brunswick, NJ on
August 15th. Please submit comments to: njtaepacomments@yahoo.com or via
mail to: AEA Auditions Dept. 165 West 46th Street, New York, NY 10036.
All responses are confidential and much appreciated.
- Did you prefer this year's EPAs or the previous lottery ?
- Were notices that many theatres posted on Casting Call and in Backstage
helpful ?
- Some theatres fulfilled AEA requirements by attending. Those theatres
sent an Artistic Director, or Casting Director, rather than an alternate.
Was this noticeable and/or meaningful to you ?
- Due to the nature of these auditions, Equity Audition Monitors were
assigned to the EPAs. Was this helpful ?
