TECHNICAL ISSUES
Equity's logo is available in black, white and color. Resolutions and applications for EPS, JPEG and GIF formats are described below.

Standard Print Logos in JPEG Format?
JPEG logos are high-resolution (300 dpi) when scaled no larger than 100% of the files' original print size, approx. 2" square. Most show programs (playbills) are prepared using the JPEG logo. JPEGs are acceptable in most design applications, but you can a GIF format if you're designing in text programs like Microsoft Word. Available in black (Grayscale) and color (CMYK and RGB).

Media Logos in GIF Format?
GIF logos are low-resolution (72 dpi) when scaled at 100% of the files' original print size, approx. 7" square. GIF formats work well in text and presentation applications like Word and PowerPoint, and can also be used on the Web after reducing the display size. Available in black, white and color.

Specialty Logos in EPS Format?(Illustrator)
EPS files are high-resolution vector graphics that scale as small or as large as you wish, and the PostScript printer will render the image crisply -- even for very large-scale projects, such as banners. Additionally, EPS logos can be placed on a colored background and will not show a white box around them (like JPEGs do). Recommended for advanced users working in Illustrator, InDesign or similar applications whose designs will output to a professional printer. You must print layouts on a PostScript printer or convert the layout to a PDF in order to print clean edges. Otherwise, use the JPEG format. Available in black, white (knockout), CMYK color and Equity's two spot colors (PMS 2935 and 1545). IMPORTANT NOTE: When you download an EPS file, your browser may change the extension from .eps to .ps - for example, instead of logo.eps it will say logo.ps - you should change the extension back to eps. You can do this either in the file download dialog box, or you can change the name of the file after you download it.
