If you fail to pay your initiation fee balance in the two year time period given, your membership will be terminated. Once membership is terminated in this manner, you will only be able to rejoin Equity by securing and working a new Equity Contract with joining eligibility, filing a new membership application and paying a new initiation fee.
If you maintain a delinquent basic dues balance for a period of two years, your membership will also be terminated. Once membership is terminated in this manner it may not be reinstated. Such individuals may only rejoin Equity upon securing and working a new Equity contract with joining eligibility, filing a new membership application and paying a new initiation fee.
Please note that this policy went into effect in November 1994. Performers who had their membership terminated in this manner prior to November 1994 may reinstate by paying the current initiation fee and submitting a new application.
