About the Program
The Education and Outreach Department handles all matters related to the education of potential, new, and existing members. The Department educates pre-professionals, as well as educators, keeping them abreast of Actors' Equity Association through printed materials and Outreach Seminars. The Department also fields questions from and introduces Equity to its newest members, as well as assisting current members to navigate and make the most of their Union. Through all of these endeavors, the Education and Outreach Department seeks to advance, promote, and foster respect for theatrical and labor issues.

Note to Educators:
Equity wants to help educators to provide current and accurate information about the Union. One way to achieve this goal is by hosting an Equity Outreach seminar at your theater-training program. Click here to learn more about the seminar.
