Do you live outside of NY, Chicago or LA? Equity's website has just been expanded with 25 new Area Liaison city webpages, that include news, links, hotlines and other resources in your area.

The Area Liaison system was established in 24 locales where a substantial number of members reside. Along with the Chair of the San Francisco/Bay Area Advisory Committee (BAAC), Area Liaisons are volunteers, selected by other members in their areas, to facilitate communications with the staff in the appropriate Equity office, Region Board or the Council. Area Liaisons and the BAAC Chair are not official representatives of Equity, nor are they authorized to act on any policy or contractual matters.

Each Area Liaison locale maintains a hotline for local auditions and other local information. Area Liaison Committees usually meet twice or three times per year. All local area members are encouraged to attend.
